Draw 5 Min Surr App Target

This drill uses the App's target and as the title suggest runs for five minutes.  It is designed to work on your sight index from the surrender position.  The App's targets require a more refined and precise technique since the concept of aim small miss small is taken to heart when you use one.  One of the things you will notice with this target is that as with a life size target the sights remain clear while the background goes all fuzzy.  However the circle target creates a nice bright area around the sight. This is the reason why this target is the easiest of them, the other offer no comfort zone.  The index needs to be precise.  Same thing applies to the demos that feature the App's Target.

Reload 20 Reps

This drill was created o practice the reload.  It is meant to be worked in a smooth manner.  Meaning we are not looking to do it fast.  Smooth and smooth gets you to speed.  I was pretty tired when I took this footages.  It was the last video of the day.  Remember, the intention of the demo of the demo is to demonstrate the app's ease of use with live targets.

McDonald v. Chicago at the Supreme Court

Hello everyone As you know tomorrow 3/2/2010 the famous case of Mcdonald vs Chicago will have its day at court, Supreme Court that is. Because of the app I've been fortunate to exchange a couple of emails with Mr James Shepherd who will not only be covering the case but will actually be in court. He will provide coverage immediately after the hearing. You can listen to him and Michael Bane on www.downrange.tv about an hour after the arguments ends. The arguments will end by 11:30am. Please visit the site and get it straight from someone who was there.
